I am a little overweight, so recently I have considered doing some sports to take the extra pounds off.
Could the practise of budybuilding be helpful in the process of weight removal????
I am talking about practicing some budybuilding excersises using weight lifting machines, and not professional budybuilding.
A: Bodybuilding/weight lifting can reduce weight, yes- but this weight is of BODY FAT- which I'm sure if what you are trying to lose.
However, in trying to lose body fat, you should do both CARDIO AND WEIGHT-LIFTING.
By lifting weights, you can create muscle. This muscle increases your metabolism, thus burns more fat.
Even if your goal is just to lose body fat, weight lifting is a must if you want to maintain or even add on to the muscle you already...
