i play volleyball and need knee pads... i was looking for the ultra thin ones that you see most college players with but i've only seen them a few times and i can't find them on the web??

A: some of the things you see college players wear are not nee pads, they are ultra thin sliders. They have a small layer of padding but they are mainly so you don't get floor burn on your knee's, here is the pair i use.

This past weekend, adult athletes happily pulled on kneepads and cleats to spend three days cavorting at Idyllwild’s initial “Fall Classic” combo of volleyball and softball. Friday evening was a volleyball tournament followed by two days of softball culminating in Sunday afternoon’s championship.

All of this sweat and Bengay was expended on behalf of Town Hall’s programs and the Idyllwild School sports program, which was reduced during the recent round of budget cuts.

Four coed teams entered the volleyball tourney. Former Idyllwild teacher Lance Fogle was able to assemble the dominating team, Lance’s Team, which won the volleyball portion of the weekend’s first “Idyllwild Fall Classic.”

According to Bob Lewis, recreation director, Fogle’s team had little trouble defeating Dawn Sonnier’s crew in the volleyball championship late Friday.
