would it be good to wear under armour compression shorts under boarder shorts for cycling?

I don't want to wear cycling shorts. What if i just wore compression shorts with boarder shorts over it? Do you think it would work for road biking? The compression shorts are suppose to prevent chafing. Comfortable? I never tried them.


A: You can buy shorts that have a compression liner with synthetic chamois. The shorts are baggies and popular in mountain biking. You can also buy compression shorts with a gel pad type chamois and wear your shorts over them. Most large Sporting Goods stores or bicycle shops have both.

I have tried (non chamois) compression shorts in the past. Go ahead and try for yourself. If your experience is like mine you won't like them.
