Q: hey guys, with tightening skateboard mounting hardware i think i might've gotten pressure cracks in my deck because the hardware was too loose. does that makes sense? also how often should i tighten my hardware, would it be bad to tighten it before i go skate as long as i dont over tighten it to the point where i dont strip it. or should i just not do that and just tighten it when i can move the locknut thing. thanks guys

A: you dont need to tight the harrdware at all it should not be neccisary just dont tighten them way to hard or youll brake the board when ollie or kickflip

The hardware fit purely, I got it with unfettered shipping so the sell for wasn’t exceedingly a quandary. It fit tenser. The tops of the screws are painted pale. I believe that’s reputed to make out a head for it determined. I speculation it kinda looks unconcerned. The suggestion is, everything fit unalloyed. Then again, I hand-me-down a teach to put the hardware on so that might have made things a lot easier.

How big does the hardware have to be for skateboard?

Hi, i'm going to buy parts to make a custom skateboard. I'm going to get a 7.9 inch board, 7.5 inch trucks, 51mm wheels, bearings, griptape and mounting bolts (hardware). I need to know how big the mounting bolts (hardware) have to be to fit the skateboard. From what I know, I think I need the 1 inch ones but they might be too small. PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks


A: Its best to get trucks around the same size as your board so maybe you should get trucks a bit wider.
7.9 board is good if your doing vert or are quite tall and have big feet i suggest bones reds bearings and the hardware doesn't really matter
for grip tape maybe jessup, pig or mob..... mob is the most gripy
51 mm wheels are better for street because there small if you are getting mid or high trucks go could go a little bigger with the wheel..... i recommendmend bones...
